How to Contact Binance Support for Deposit Issues

· ~ 15 min read · CryptoPort Editorial

When Should You Contact Support

Not every deposit issue requires contacting support. Some situations just need patience, while others only support can resolve.

When You Don't Need Support

  • On-chain deposit was just sent and confirmations aren't complete yet → Wait normally
  • P2P merchant hasn't released coins within 15 minutes of payment → Wait normally
  • Deposit record shows "Processing" and it hasn't been long → Wait normally
  • Network congestion causing a pending transaction → Can only wait; support can't help either

When You Should Contact Support

  • On-chain deposit has enough confirmations but hasn't arrived after 2+ hours
  • You forgot to enter the Memo or entered it incorrectly
  • You selected the wrong deposit network (chain)
  • P2P merchant hasn't released coins after 15+ minutes and isn't responding
  • P2P order was cancelled but you already paid
  • Credited amount is clearly wrong
  • Deposit page shows maintenance but you already sent the transaction

Three Ways to Contact Support

Channel 1: In-App Live Chat

This is the fastest and most convenient option. After logging into the Binance app:

  1. Find "Help Center" or "Support" (usually in your profile page or top-right of the home screen)
  2. You'll first encounter the AI chatbot
  3. Describe your issue; the bot will try to help
  4. If the bot can't resolve it, type "human agent" or "transfer to agent"
  5. Wait for a live agent to connect

Queue time: Usually a few minutes to around 15 minutes. During major market moves (when users worldwide are flooding support), waits may be longer.

Tip: While waiting for a human agent, prepare all your information (TxID, UID, screenshots, etc.) so you can send everything quickly once connected.

Channel 2: Submit a Ticket

Best for complex issues requiring lots of documentation:

  1. Log into Binance (app or web)
  2. Go to Help Center
  3. Find "Submit a Ticket" or "Submit a Request"
  4. Select the issue category > choose "Deposit/Funding" related
  5. Fill in a detailed description
  6. Upload attachments (screenshots, etc.)
  7. Submit

After submission, support will respond via email or in-app notification. First response is typically within 24 hours.

Channel 3: Social Media

Binance has an official support account @BinanceHelpDesk on Twitter. You can message them with your issue, but response times are slower than in-app support.

Critical warning: Social media is full of scammers impersonating Binance support. How to tell them apart:

  • Real support never initiates DMs
  • Real support never asks for your password or private keys
  • Real support never asks you to transfer funds to an address
  • Only communicate through officially verified accounts (with a blue checkmark)

What Deposit Issues Can Support Resolve

Can Resolve Directly

Issue How It's Handled Approximate Time
Enough confirmations but not credited Manual check and crediting A few hours
Memo missing/wrong Manual matching and crediting 1-7 days
P2P merchant won't release coins Arbitration intervention Hours to 1 day
Wallet maintenance delay Inform you of restoration time Immediate

Can Attempt but No Guarantee

Issue Notes
Same-chain cross-format deposit (e.g., ERC-20 to BEP-20) Technically recoverable; takes time
Deposit below minimum amount Manual crediting may be possible
Deposit to an unsupported chain Depends on the specific case

Cannot Resolve

  • Blockchain network congestion (outside Binance's control)
  • Sent to a completely wrong non-Binance address (on-chain transactions are irreversible)
  • Sender hasn't actually sent the transaction (problem isn't on Binance's end)

What to Prepare Before Contacting Support

Being well-prepared helps support resolve your issue faster. Don't just say "my deposit didn't arrive" — support needs specific details.

Must Have

  • Binance UID: Found in your profile. After signing up for Binance, it's visible in the top-right corner
  • TxID: Transaction hash — essential for on-chain deposit issues
  • Deposit coin and amount
  • Network/chain used

Good to Have

  • Blockchain explorer screenshot: Showing transaction status and confirmations
  • Binance deposit record screenshot (if one exists)
  • Sender's withdrawal record screenshot
  • For P2P issues: Order number and payment proof screenshot

Problem Description Format

A clear description saves back-and-forth. Suggested format:

Issue type: On-chain deposit not credited UID: 12345678 Coin: USDT Amount: 500 Network: TRC-20 Deposit time: 2026-03-26 14:30 TxID: xxxx Blockchain explorer shows transaction successful, 200+ confirmations Binance deposit records: No entry / Shows Pending

Tips for Communicating with Support

Stay Patient and Polite

Support handles multiple users simultaneously, so responses may not be instant. A polite attitude goes a long way.

Provide Complete Information Upfront

Don't wait for support to ask you question by question. Send all information at once so they can start investigating immediately.

Don't Submit Duplicates

Don't submit the same issue across multiple channels (ticket + live chat + social media). This creates confusion and delays. Pick one channel and follow through.

Note Your Ticket Number

If handled via ticket, write down the number. Providing it in follow-ups lets support pull up the history instantly.

What If Support Can't Resolve It or Is Too Slow

Request Escalation

If frontline support can't help, ask to be escalated to senior support or the technical team. In the Binance app chat, clearly state you need higher-level assistance.

Follow Up Reasonably

If three days pass with no response after submitting a ticket, contact support again. But don't follow up every hour.

Keep All Evidence

Regardless of support's progress, retain all transaction records, screenshots, and conversation logs. These may be needed in subsequent steps.
